As the last few Glastonbury Festival 2013 tickets go on sale on Sunday morning at 9am partygoers who want to save money, reduce the amount they carry and cut their carbon footprint are being offered a special deal.
The effort to encourage festival-goers to come by bicycle is part of a Green Traveller campaign.
As well as being green, cyclists avoid being stuck in queues of cars and get their camping gear taken on site for them.
Anyone who does arrive on their bike will get several rewards, including a free lock-up and a campsite just for cyclists.
Like anyone arriving at the festival by public transport, they'll get a Green Traveller Card which gives discounts on food and T-shirts, as well as exclusive access to solar showers and compost toilets.
The effort has been organised by keen cyclist and goat farmer Roger Longman of Bagborough on behalf of Team Tor 2000 for cyclists travelling from within 20 miles of the festival site.
While every other camper will have to carry all they need from the far flung festival car parks, cyclists using the scheme can drop off their gear at local bike shops and sports centres before the festival.
They then collect their bags from a store and secure lock up just a few yards from the main gates and carry them just inside the site to a specially set aside campsite.
The will be given route maps showing the best way of avoiding the worst of the traffic, and after the festival they will leave their gear at the festival lock up.
While everyone else trudges their weary way back to their cars the cyclists can pedal off unencumbered by rucksacks and tents.
The gear will be delivered back to the collection point for pick up later in the week.
Luggage should consist of no more than one tent and two bags weighing 30kg together. No bags will be accepted without a zip.
There will be collection points at Axbridge, Bruton, Castle Cary, Cheddar, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Somerton, Street, and Wells.
Luggage should be dropped off on June 24 and Team Tor 2000 will take it to the site for 8am on June 26.
Luggage will need to be collected from the drop off point on Tuesday, June 28 after the festival unless by arrangement with the shop.
The service costs just £5 – a fraction of the price of parking a car on site.
Cyclists pay a deposit of £15 and after the festival the deposit is returned on application. Cyclists are urged to donate the £10 to support local cycling events and youth training.

A guided ride from Bristol is also being organised with partied out cyclists being returned to the city by coach on Monday July 1 and their bicycles sent back to the city the following day.
