A paraglider who flew into a tree and got stuck had to be rescued by firefighters today.
The man's ropes and chute became entangled after he collided with the branches, leaving him stranded more than 30ft up in Ham Hill Country Park, Stoke sub Hamdon.
Fire crews from Yeovil and Martock, plus the specialist rescue team from Bridgwater, were sent at 11.35am and freed the man using ladders, lines and ropes.
He was uninjured.
