FIRE crews were called to a building fire in Yeovil yesterday after cooking was left unattended.
Two appliances from Yeovil attended the property at St Michaels Avenue shortly after 6.50pm where crews discovered smoke billowing from a first floor flat.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire Service said: "After investigation crews discovered that cooking had been left unattended and the fire was confined to the oil in the pan.
"Crews used two breathing apparatus and removed the pan from the heat."
