Exmoor firefighters spent two hours battling a blaze at Grabbist Hill near Dunster this morning.
Crews from Minehead, Porlock and Nether Stowey were sent to the fire shortly before 9.30am after receiving an emergency call from a ranger.
The blaze involved around 12 square metres of pine needles and undergrowth which were smouldering when firefighters arrived.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the fire was extinguished shortly after 11am.
