A man injured in a crash near Weston-super-Mare on Friday evening has died in hospital.
The 33-year-old man was driving a Mazda along the A370 towards junction 21 of the M5 motorway at around 9.25pm when the crash happened.
Police said the car collided with the central barrier as it approached the West Wick roundabout.
The casualty was taken to hospital, but died of his injuries yesterday.
Officers investigating the incident have appealed for witnesses, or anyone who was driving along the road at the time, to contact them on 101.
They are also keen to hear from anyone who saw the car in the area prior to the collision.
