A WOMAN has been taken to hospital following a crash in Pitney, near Langport.
A statement from Avon and Somerset Police said a motorcycle and a van had been involved in the incident.
The road was closed until around 4.30pm after emergency services were called to the scene on the B3153 at around 4pm.
The female motorcyclist was transported to hospital and fire crews made the area safe.
The police said her injuries were not thought to be serious and she was taken to Yeovil District Hospital as a precaution.
