Caretaker manager Derek Graham believes Frome Town have done enough to secure their Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division survival – but is targeting one more win just to make sure.
The Robins bounced back from their Red Insure Cup final heartbreak against Arlesey Town to pick up victories from two difficult away trips in the league this week.
Saturday's 1-0 win at Bedford Town was followed by a 3-0 success at play-off hopefuls Hemel Hempstead Town on Tuesday to move Frome seven points clear of Bedworth United in the final relegation spot with just three games remaining.
"On paper we need another win but our goal difference is far superior to Bedworth's, so you'd like to think we've got enough points already," said Graham, who took the helm following the departure of Darren Perrin three weeks ago.
"One more win is what we need to make us mathematically safe but we'd have to lose our last three and Bedworth win their last three for them to catch us.
"It's been three awesome performances over the last week because even in the cup game against Arlesey we won the game in 90 minutes and drew after 120."
The Robins could guarantee their survival when they come face-to-face with cup final conquerors Arlesey at the AlderSmith Stadium on Saturday (3pm).
But with Frome facing a third consecutive game against play-off candidates, Graham is expecting another tough test.
"It will be a hard game and we've had three really close games against them already this season," said Graham. "They are trying to get in the play-offs, so we know we are going to be up against it.
"But the players believe in themselves and there have been no gimmes over the last couple of weeks.
"It's no goals conceded in the last two. Our back four have been absolutely superb and with Darren Chitty behind it looks like the opposition will never score.
"We've had some really difficult games and if Bedford had beaten us at the weekend they'd have gone within three points of the play-offs.
"We were really under the cosh in the first half on Tuesday as Hemel played some really good football but we battled hard to get through and managed to turn it around in the second half."
Former professionals Nigel Winterburn and Paul Walsh will visit the AlderSmith Stadium on Monday as the club's 90-day Football Pools renovation challenge comes to a close.
The event, which is free to attend, will be open to the public from 3pm when Walsh and Winterburn take charge of the Laurie Edwards Memorial Trophy between Selwood and Oakfield Academies.
A Q&A session with the pair will take place in the Venue at 5pm before freestyle footballer Matt Minnis gives a demonstration of his skills.
The club's under-16s then take on Westbury Youth, with the Robins needing just a point to win the title in the Mid-Wilts League.
There will also be music from the Frome Street Bandits and a hog roast will be provided to all attendees free of charge.
"It will be a really good day for everyone at the club," added Graham.
"There are still little bits and pieces to do around the ground but it's great knowing that we are almost secure in having it for this level of football again for next year too."
