A stretch of the A303 was closed this afternoon after a cattle trailer overturned near South Petherton.
The incident blocked the road's eastbound carriageway between Hayes End Roundabout and the A356 junction.
Traffic built up in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident, which was cleared shortly before 4.30pm.
