Yeovil Town's players have been prepared to deal with team-mates potentially choking in their bid to reach at least npower League One's play-offs. In a week where three top six rivals lost and one parted company with their manager, the Glovers have stood strong in fourth without kicking a ball. Manager Gary Johnson said he and his squad had already discussed the risk of blowing their progress and dropping points at this critical time, similar to Doncaster Rovers, Sheffield United and Swindon Town. He said: "We had a great Tuesday, that's for sure. It certainly makes us aware that people can choke at this stage of the season. If you look at the top of the Championship some of them are choking as well. "We spoke about this a little while ago with the boys in a hotel before an away game where we said there will be sides choking. "We have got to understand what it means to choke and go out with not a lot of confidence. We have got to fight it and be ready if it rears its ugly head." The Glovers head to Stevenage on Saturday knowing that four points from their last four games would be enough to secure a play-off spot. However, Johnson said he was not getting carried away with what lay ahead after the weekend and was concentrating solely on the threat posed by Graham Westley's team. "We have got to go to Stevenage to win the game," he said. "If we win that we have only got three games left and then we have got to go into the next game. "All you can do is go into the next game and see what their strengths and weaknesses are, do everything we can to win the game and if teams choke even more we will be disappointed if we are couple of goals short."
