Gary Johnson hoped his Yeovil Town captain Jamie McAllister made another miraculous trip to Lourdes on Sunday to ensure his fitness for tomorrow's trip to Shrewsbury Town.
The experienced left back joined Keanu Marsh-Brown in hobbling off against Bury, replaced by Dominic Blizzard with 15 minutes to spare in the 2-1 success.
Marsh-Brown was the victim of two crunching first half challenges in the npower League One clash at Huish Park, the second resulting in a straight red card for Zac Thompson.
Midfield duo Ed Upson and Korey Smith were also both visibly struggling at full time in the game won by goals from Byron Webster and Sam Foley either side of Dominic Poleon's leveller.
Glovers' boss Gary Johnson joked that his skipper made regular visits to the French town famous for Roman Catholic pilgrimages.
He said: "With Jamie McAllister we don't know yet, we will have to let the doctor and the physio see him. We haven't got a big enough squad to have too many go down and I did tell you to bring your boots last week, and now you know why.
"Hopefully he is fit. Macca visits Lourdes every Sunday and he if he comes off on a Saturday, he is normally ready on a Tuesday. So let's hope his trip this weekend is beneficial."
Luke Ayling missed the game as he continues to struggle with a hip problem, whilst Reading loan striker Gozie Ugwu (hamstring) could return to fitness this week.
On the other walking wounded from Saturday, Johnson said: "It was almost a stamp (on Marsh-Brown) so there will be bruising and we will have to see.
"I do not think it is anything more than that but we didn't want him hobbling about on something for the second half. Korey got a dead leg, he's okay. Ed thought he might have opened up his medial ligament (in his knee) but he is okay as well. Those two did really well."
