THIEVES got away with power tools worth thousands of pounds following a break-in in Hardington Mandeville last week.
Stihl chainsaws, hedge trimmers and a brush cutter with a total value of £7,000 were taken during the overnight burglary between Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th December.
The stolen items are all distinctive as they are marked with the victim's post code and the name Applewood.
A police spokesman said: "Officers investigating this theft would like to speak to anyone who have any information about the crime or to anyone who has been offered the items for sale."
Anyone with information should call Avon and Somerset Police on 101, quoting crime reference 131371/12.
