Taunton Town boss Leigh Robinson has the full backing of the Evo-Stik Southern League club's board.
It follows speculation about his future after the 5-1 defeat at Wimborne in Division One South and West earlier this week.
"No manager or coach can legislate against individual or collective errors," said Taunton's chief executive and chairman Kevin Sturmey last night. "Leigh has our full support.
"We gave Wimborne a three-goal start and there was no real way back for us. We managed to pull a goal back but Wimborne quickly went back up the other end and scored."
Taunton have picked up only one point from seven away matches and Sturmey added: "Our home form has not been too bad.
"We are making stupid mistakes away from home. It's very difficult when you're playing catch-up football.
"Leigh has also found it very difficult to field a settled side for one reason or another.
"Consequently, we've not had the players on the substitutes' bench who could come on and change a game."
