The living dead will walk the streets of Glastonbury later this month as the town hosts its first official Zombie walk.
The event is being organised by Marthacare, the Glastonbury charity set up in memory of Martha Mickshik, of Norbins Road, who died in May 2006, aged seven, from a brain tumour.
The charity provides a specialist family support service at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
Residents are being urged to dress up in their favourite undead costumes and stagger through the town to help raise money and awareness for the charity.
The walk is being held on October 28, but the undead are already getting into the spirit of the walk on Facebook and Twitter.
"I always thought that Glastonbury was the perfect place for a zombie walk," said Maggie Mickshik, founder of Marthacare.
"It seemed like an event that the whole town could get its teeth into."
After shuffling through the town, the zombies will converge on Tor Sport and Leisure Centre for an evening of music, Halloween games and a fire walk.

Organisers are warning people thinking of taking their children to the event to prepare them.
"We do welcome children, but under-12s need to be accompanied by an adult, and parents should make sure that younger children are prepared, as some of them may find the costumes and the make-up a bit scary," said Maggie.
The tickets for the event cost £7 in advance, (£8 on the door) or £3 for under-18s (£4 on the door).
