A water-filled fun day takes place in Pensford on Saturday.
Jo and Mike Drury, owners of the 17th century Rising Sun pub, will be holding what they say is the village's first regatta, from 1pm until late.
All funds raised will go towards the Pensford Weirs Restoration Fund.
The couple are applying to the Heritage Lottery Fund for money to repair the pub's weirs, but also need to bring in some cash themselves.
The weirs are part of a footpath, which leads from the pub and under the viaduct to Stanton Drew, and which are in need of repair.
During the afternoon there will be a barbecue, a boat race, a tug-of-war and a duck race, followed by a hog roast in the evening, which will be accompanied by live music.
Providing the music will be Fastest to Canada, supported by Pill Whalers.
For more information about the event, or to enter teams for the tug-o-war, call the Rising Sun on 01761 490006.
