A man was treated for minor injuries after the car he was driving left the A303 yesterday afternoon, a spokesman for the ambulance service said.
Emergency services were called to the Podimore roundabout shortly after 5.30pm to a road crash involving one vehicle.
Two appliances from Somerton and Yeovil, and a rescue tender from Yeovil, also attended the scene.
When they arrived, crews made the vehicle safe.
A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said the motorist was treated at the scene for cuts and grazes.
