VALLIS School Associations (VSA) has recently enjoyed its summer fair, raising £1,480.
The event was officially opened by the winner of a design fair poster competition, six-year-old Jasmine.
The playground was filled with the smell of freshly barbecued sausages and burgers and there was lots for families to see and do including Tombola, coconut shy, craft stalls, bouncy castle and Hook'a'Duck.
Wansdyke Play Association (WPA) set up a cardboard city for the children to play in and let their imaginations run wild.
The children could visit pets corner during the afternoon and enjoy handling guinea pigs, rabbits and hamsters while learning all about animal care.
A school association spokeswoman said: "A fun-filled afternoon was had by all and a fantastic £1,480 was raised."
