Twins from the junior section of Wells RFC have both joined Bath Rugby Academy this season.
Daniel and Matthew Solway, who play at under-15 level, were spotted by scouts at different games earlier in the season and have gone on to represent Bath.
Number eight Matthew was selected after impressing at a district game in December at Yeovil Barbarians, while brother Daniel, who plays at full-back, linked up with the training squad soon afterwards after playing for Somerset against Millfield School.
Both boys represented Bath Academy at the South West Tournament in Clifton and then travelled to Harrow for the National Tournament, where Bath came second against the likes of Saracens, Harlequins, Gloucester, Bristol, Exeter Chiefs and London Irish.
The twins hope to come through trials in August and earn a place in the Bath under-16s squad.
They would like to thanks Wells coaches Martin Peters, Dave Bailey, Chris White and Tim Westlake for their help.
