Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson is aiming for a third or fourth place finish to ensure home advantage in the second leg of the League One play-off semi-final.
The Glovers beat Crewe Alexandra 1-0 at Huish Park on Saturday to move up to fourth in the table, although they could fall to fifth if Sheffield United win their game in hand on Tuesday.
Yeovil travel to already relegated Bury on the final day of the season next weekend, and Johnson is keen to finish the campaign in the top four.
"You have got to try for third or fourth because it is better to have your away leg first, and then have your home leg knowing exactly what you have got to do.
"You must not make it so important that if it does not happen that way we will all be disappointed, we will all be pleased that we are in the play-offs.
"You have got 180 minutes to prove you are better than the opposition, which gives you plenty of time and leaves nothing to chance, and we will leave nothing to chance. Everyone has got to look forward to a possible appearance at Wembley."
Johnson will have to choose from a depleted squad when they visit Greater Manchester next Saturday after Byron Webster, Nathan Ralph and Angelo Balanta all limped off against the Alex, joining already injured pair Matt Dolan and Dan Burn on the sidelines.
The Glovers boss admitted it could be a case of whoever is fit will start against Kevin Blackwell's side
"It is looking that way," he said.
"The boys are going to need their little break over the next week or so, because mentally we've put them through the mill a little bit.
"Obviously today we lost our centre-half early and we had a new pairing at centre-half, and we had a new right back.
"We had to change our team quite a bit during the game; we had to substitute the sub, so there were a few icebergs out there today that we had to manoeuvre around and we did that.
"Although it wasn't a fantastic end of season top game, we wanted to win it."
