To celebrate World Book Night on Tuesday 23April, Bath & North East Somerset Council is hosting a 'Book Chat!' at Midsomer Norton Library, between 7pm and 8pm.

Do you have an all-time favourite book you'd like to tell others about? Or would you like to share with others the book that you're reading at the moment? Maybe you'd like to get ideas from others for good books to read at the same time.

The event is part of Bath & North East Somerset Council's "After Hours" campaign to promote the wider use of libraries with regular author talks and activities taking place outside of their normal opening times.

Councillor David Dixon (Lib-Dem, Oldfield), Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods, said: "Bath & North East Somerset Council hopes people will take this opportunity to share their love of books with others on World Book Night. The team at Midsomer Norton Library would also like to hear from anyone who has any ideas for future 'After Hours' events."

You can find more information on other After Hours events and library activities by visiting www.bathnes.gov.uk/libraries or to keep up to date with library news, follow @bathnes on Twitter using #bathneslibraries and like the "BathnesLibraries" Facebook page.
