Caving and rock climbing could be on offer in Yeovil if plans for an 'adventure zone' on Pen Mill Trading Estate are given the go ahead.
Crown Endeavours Limited, under trading name ready2climb, applied for planning permission to build an adventure sports facility in Unit 10 Buckland Road on March 12.
The plans include building a 'family adventure zone' comprising a climbing wall and an artificial caving system.
The premises were previously occupied by a plumbing business but have been empty for two years.
The new set-up, which would be intended for use by families and schools, could provide three full-time and two part-time jobs for instructors and kitchen staff.
South Somerset District Council are set to make a decision on the application at a committee meeting on May 8.
