Alternative rock band, World Party, will play a mini-gig at Raves From the Grave, in Cheap Street, Frome, on Saturday afternoon to mark Record Store Day.
This will be the sixth year that the independent record store has been involved in the day and there is likely to be a selection of limited edition goodies on offer.
World Party, who will play the Cheese and Grain that evening, will be performing from 3pm and music fans are invited to go along.
Many record stores across the globe team up with musicians and artists to celebrate the art of music.
Store manager, Andrew Birch, said they were expecting a queue when they open the doors at 9am.
He said: "Record Store Day is a very busy day for us and we are expecting there to be a small queue when we open.
"We will have a limited amount of limited edition records for sale, but it is all on a first come, first serve basis.
"We're also looking forward to having World Party with us in the afternoon and hope lots of people come along to support the event."
