Chris Ray and Peter Monaghan were the kings of the Taunton Marathon and Half Marathon yesterday.
More than 1,000 runners took to the town's streets for the annual road race, with 200 of them taking on the 26.2-mile challenge.
Ray was the first man home, clocking a winning time of 2hrs 41mins 57secs and crossing the line more than three minutes clear of his nearest rival.
Runner-up David Tomlin, of Teignbridge Trotters, finished in 2:45:28, with Ben Boyd third in 2:52:22.
Langport Runners' Emily Canvin won the women's marathon in a time of 3:11:34 which was fast enough for 23rd overall.
Monaghan successfully defended his Half Marathon title, crossing the line in a winning time of 1:14:47.
Monaghan led a Torbay AC clean sweep of the top three, with clubmates Arran Tocknell and Simon Longthorpe second and third respectively.
Plymouth Harriers runner Ami Yetton won the women's race in a time of 1:22:48, and Robert Evans won the wheelchair category in 53:46.
