Police suspect arson after five vehicles were damaged by a fire in Bridgwater last night.
Officers joined fire crews at the scene of the blaze at Middlezoy shortly before midnight.
Emergency services had received several calls from nearby residents reporting that a car was on fire, and that the blaze had spread to a nearby truck.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said that two vehicles were well alight when two crews from Bridgwater arrived, and that a total of five vehicles were affected.
The blaze is thought to have been started deliberately, the fire service added.
