Police are investigating a suspected arson after a car was found on fire near Yeovil in the early hours of this morning.
Fire crews were called to Hoopers Lane, Stoford, shortly after 2.15am where they found a car well alight in a gateway to a field.
They used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
A Devon and Somerset Fire Service spokesman said the cause is believed to be deliberate.
