Paulton Rovers' six-match winning run was halted by a 1-0 defeat to Sholing at the Silverlake Arena.
Lee Wort netted a 36th-minute winner against the run of play to leave Rovers in seventh place in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division 1 South & West table ahead of their trip to bottom side Bishops Cleeve on Wednesday night.
