Love struck couples are being offered the chance to appear in the Western Gazette on Valentine's Day.
The newspaper is calling on couples to take a seat on its romantic love sofa and have their picture taken by one of its award-winning photographers.
A gallery of the couples will appear in a special love-themed edition of the Western Gazette on Thursday, February 14.
Editor Emma Slee said: "This is a great opportunity for couples to have a unique and beautiful portrait of themselves published on the most romantic day of the year.
"I can't think of a better way for people to get into the mood for Valentine's Day."
The love sofa will be in the heart of Yeovil's Quedam shopping centre on Saturday, February 9, from 11am until 1pm.
There is no charge to have your picture taken and for it to appear in the newspaper.
Miss Slee said: "All couples are welcome – the young and not so young. Just bring along the special person you love.
"Thanks to our friends at the Quedam shopping centre we can offer a unique chance to be photographed with the streets of Yeovil as the backdrop. Our professional photographer will play Cupid and capture the moment.
"We hope to have a lot of fun, but also to provide our readers with treasured keepsake."
Souvenir prints will be available on the website www.thisisphotosales.co.uk/westerngazette from as little as £5.50 and canvas prints start from £32. Couples will find the love seat in Ivel Court – or inside a nearby shop if the weather is poor.
People aged 16 and under will need to provide parental permission to be photographed.
The love sofa is kindly being loaned by the British Heart Foundation's charity furniture shop on Middle Street.
Manager Roz Holt said: "This Valentine's day we're asking residents to have a heart and help the British Heart Foundation by coming to our store, picking up a bargain and donating to a good cause."
