A chimney fire spread to the conservatory of a home in Wincanton in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters from the town were joined at the scene in Springfield Road by crews from Castle Cary and Gillingham at around 2.30am.
Crews extinguished the blaze, and two people were treated for smoke inhalation by ambulance staff.
