Volunteers are needed to be host families for children visiting the UK from Chernobyl.
The Sherborne and Yeovil Link of the Chernobyl Children's Life Line are looking for families to welcome a child into their home for four weeks in June 2013.
The charity works throughout the year to raise money to bring a group of children to the UK for a recuperative holiday.
These children are still being affected by the serious after effects of the Chernobyl nuclear explosion which happened 25 years ago.
Full support is given to all host families and the children are taken out on day trips on most weekdays.
For further information or if you would like to make a donation towards the project, please contact Joan on 01963 210339.
