It is called For The Love of Amy, and the pretty cushions, vintage linen, jewellery and shabby-chic furniture in the little shop would have delighted the young girl whom it celebrates.
Amy Hofmeister was a carefree 13-year-old cycling when she was struck by a car driven by one of two motorists racing each other through Taunton at twice the 30 mile per hour limit.
Her death on June 15 last year provoked a huge outpouring of emotion. Many people have since joined forces with Amy's family to promote their 'Think Amy' safety campaign.
Now Amy's family have opened the shop in East Reach, Taunton, in tribute to her joyful spirit.
